Day1 Collect car from airport and drive to Paihia.

Day 2. Around Paihia Visit treaty grounds, early mission house, take a boat ride or do a day trip to Cape Reinga.

Day 3. Drive back to Auckland via the western side of the island  stopping at Tane Mahutu and Matakohe. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 4. Drive through Hamilton to Rotorua. Take in the show at the Agrodome in the afternoon and go to a concert and hangi in the evening.

Day 5. View one of the Maori villages, visit the Ohinemutu church and the Government gardens, the Ward Baths and the Polynesian pools.
Overnight again in Rotorua.

Day 6. In the morning stop at Waitomo and take in  the glow worm cave and, if time, the Aranui cave. Carry on through the Awakino gorge to New Plymouth where you overnight.

Day 7. In New Plymouth visit the coastal walkway and Pukekura Park, then travel south to see the Tawhiti museum just outside Hawera. Carry on to Wanganui for overnight.

Day 8. Travel from  Wanganui to Napier, going though the Manawatu gorge and up the lowland areas of Southern Hawkes Bay. Overnight in Napier.

Day 9. Take an Art Deco walk in Napier before heading to Taupo. Perhaps a trip (or fish) on the lake (they will pack and send home the trout that you catch!) and view the Huka Falls, the craters of the Moon and partake of the thermal waters at one of the thermal baths. Overnight in Taupo.

Day 10. In ther morning visit the Aratiatia Rapids on the way through to Cambridge and Hamilton and continue back to Auckland where the tour concludes.
